Formatting Guidelines
Title Requirements
- • Maximum 50 characters for main title
- • Use title case (capitalize major words)
- • Avoid abbreviations and acronyms
- • Be descriptive and specific
- • No period at the end
Author Information
- • List authors in order of contribution
- • Use superscript numbers for affiliations
- • Include full names (no titles like Dr., PhD)
- • Provide complete institutional addresses
- • Clearly identify corresponding author
Keywords
- • Use 3-5 keywords from MeSH terms
- • Separate with commas
- • Use lowercase (except proper nouns)
- • Avoid repeating words from the title
- • Choose terms that enhance discoverability
Required Statements
- • Conflict of Interest: Required for all submissions
- • Funding: Describe all funding sources
- • Author Contributions: Detail each author's role
- • Ethics: Include if human/animal subjects involved
- • Data Availability: Describe data sharing policies
Common Mistakes to Avoid
